Fairstep is unique in that we print both Digitally and Litho all under one roof, not something that many can boast about. This means that we can offer you the best solution in-house and monitored to our strict quality control standards. So whether it be short run, from 1 A3 sheet, to print-runs in the 100's of thousands, we have the solution for you.
On the digital side we offer printing on our modern HP Indigo 3050. This machine offers litho quality not achievable by many of it's so-called "competitors". The beauty of the Indigo is that you can print smaller quantites without sacrificing quality and in amazingly short turnaround times. Jobs can be finished virtually immediately after coming off the press, and will be trimmed, folded, stitched, wire bound or drilled, all in-house by our more than competent bindery. And don't forget, because it's digital means that you can personalise. So if its certificates, name cards, whatever, give us the names in an Excel spreadsheet and away we go.
On the Litho side we have an A2 Heidelberg SM74 with in-line coating. This means that jobs can be printed and aqueous varnished in one pass, giving us the ability to turn jobs around quicker, without waiting for the ink to dry. The SM74 can print up to 14 000 sheets an hour without sacrificing quality and caters for those longer runs. The machine has auto-plate-loading and wash-up, meaning quick job changes and make-readies.
And just in case you need something in-between, there is also the Heidelberg DI. This fits perfectly in-between the 2 machines mentioned above. When a run is too big for digital but too short for litho, the DI is exactly what you need. Litho quality, fast make-readies and quick turn-arounds, it fills the gap to perfection.
